Proposal Thesis Statement

Understanding the reason behind opponents of same sex marriage is not the issue, understanding why those reasons outweigh constitutional rights when we are a country primarily based on freedom is. It is my hope to see in the future that same sex marriage be legalized in all 50 states, that same sex partners everywhere are given the freedoms that heterosexual couples are already enjoying, and that rather than stifling a very important topic, it is brought to light and people are educated on the improtance of the foundation our country was created uponm which is: All men are created equal.
